Hi @Lizqy1016,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's not typical to need to clean the printhead every time you print. Blurry prints can be caused by a few different issues.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem:
Check the Print Quality Settings:
- Make sure your print quality settings are set to the desired level. You can adjust this in the printer settings on your computer.
Align the Printhead:
- Many printers have an alignment process that you can run to ensure that the printhead is properly aligned. Check your printer’s menu for an alignment option.
Check for Printhead Clogs:
- Even if you clean the printhead, clogs might still be an issue. Make sure the nozzles are not blocked. Run a printhead cleaning cycle, but avoid overusing this function as it can deplete ink quickly.
Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure you’re using genuine HP ink cartridges. Sometimes, third-party or refilled cartridges can cause print quality issues.
Inspect the Cartridges:
- Check that the ink cartridges are properly installed and that there are no protective strips or packaging materials still on them.
Check the Paper Quality:
- Ensure you're using the correct type of paper for your print job. Poor paper quality can affect print results.
Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. HP often releases updates that can improve performance and fix issues.
Clean the Printhead Manually:
- If automatic cleaning doesn’t help, you might need to clean the printhead manually. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this safely.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
