Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model?  Some models will load paper print side down in the paper tray (such as modst Deskjet or Officejet models), others load the paper with the print side facing upward (such as the Sprocket printer).  Your user manual should be consulted for the proper paper loading procedure.
