A few weeks ago my HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All In One printer began printing all borderless prints shifted to the left. No matter what program or device I print from, if I select borderless printing, the entire image is shifted, leaving a 1/4 inch (exactly) white section on the right side of the image (landscape) or bottom of the image (portrait) with the other side of the image cut off. I am using 8.5x11 inch paper. I tested printing an image that printed perfectly before and it now shifts to the left, so I know the document itself is not the issue. I have searched and tried all of the troubleshooting issues mentioned in other HP threads. I reset the computer to factory, reinstalled the drivers on my laptop, reset the printer to factory, adjusted print settings, aligned the print heads and confirmed all firmware and drivers are up to date. If I print without selecting borderless, it prints fine. Before a few weeks ago, everything printed perfectly with borderless, which is my primary use of the printer. I use Instant ink, so I have not tried replacing the cartridges since it prints correctly except for borderless.
A few things I have noticed:
Behaves the same from all devices I print from.
Behaves the same regardless of the program I print from.
Behaves the same regardless of file type (PNG, JPEG, PDF).
Please help, I have spent hours researching and troubleshooting and nothing has fixed it. The printer is only a year and a half old; I don't want to replace it already. Thank you.

Hi @waldrokp,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you've already gone through many troubleshooting steps, but there are a few additional things you can check or try to resolve the borderless printing issue on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025.
Paper Size and Type Settings:
- Ensure that the paper size and type settings in both the printer settings and the print settings on your computer match the actual paper you are using (8.5x11 inches).
- Make sure that the settings for borderless printing are correctly configured.
Margins and Scaling:
- Check if there are any margin settings in the print options. Adjusting margins may help correct the shift.
- Ensure that scaling options are set to 100% or "Actual Size."
Printer Driver Reinstallation:
- Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer completely.
- Download the latest drivers from the HP website for your printer model and reinstall them.
Print Preview:
- Use the print preview feature to see how the document will be printed. This can help identify if the shift is occurring before the print job is sent to the printer.
Printer Firmware:
- Confirm that your printer has the latest firmware. Visit the HP support website to check for firmware updates specific to your model.
Print from Another Device:
- If possible, try printing the same document from a different computer or device to see if the issue persists.
Check for Mechanical Issues:
- Examine the paper feed mechanism, rollers, and other parts for any physical obstructions or damage.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for responding. My only options for fill are "Fill Page" or "Shrink to Fit". None of the options have that the option for "Actual" or "100%". I have set Margins to "normal". When I use Print Preview, it says "Print Preview is not available." The rest of the things I have already tried - firmware is up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, printing from other devices causes the same issue, No physical obstructions, print head alignment was done, printing without borderless prints the image centered, with equal white border around the edges. Only borderless seems to be affected. The size of the image is not exactly 11 x 8.5, but it doesn't matter if I select "fill page" or "shrink to fit", it always shifts to the left 1/4 inch. What I don't understand is that images that printed perfectly before are now printing 1/4 inch to the left (in landscape) so the size of the image shouldn't matter that much, right?
