I bought three new ink catridges black, yellow and magenta. I replaced the black last week and printed a few times and it worked fine . I went to print today and the yellow and magenta needed to be replaced. I changed the yellow and magenta and left the blue as the estimate showed there was some left. When I tried to print it the blue showed depleted so I assumed it was an error and took it out and put it back it a couple times and everytime I did that I noticed the levels on my other ink catridges were dropping even though I haven't printed anything. Now my three new unused catridges are showing depleted.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • 1) Does the copy print out the same way?
  • 2) What's the application you are trying to print from?
  • 3)Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page –

Open the HP Smart app, and then print the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

  1. Open HP Smart and select your printer.
  2. Click Printer Reports, or click Tools and then click Printer Reports.

The list of reports is displayed.

  1. Select Print Quality Report.

The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
