Hi @prithvy,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
That's a brief explanation of the issue, which definitely will help us understand and assist accordingly.
Start by power cycling the printer, turning it off, unplugging it from power, and letting it sit for about 5–10 minutes. This helps clear any minor glitches. Once it’s powered back on, check if the issue persists.
Next, take a close look at the toner cartridges. Remove them all and inspect the gold or metal chip contacts for any dirt or debris. Cleaning them gently with a soft, dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol can help. Don’t forget to check inside the printer where the cartridges sit, dust or broken connectors can often cause problems. Cleaning the slots with compressed air or a dry cloth might make a difference.
If you have spare toner cartridges, try swapping them out. In some cases, firmware updates on certain printers restrict the use of third-party or refilled cartridges, so using original ones might help bypass the issue.
