HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer

OFFICEJET PRO 8020e Error message is cartridges are blocked. Suggested resolution performed and no blockage discovered. cartridge carrier is all the way to the right and cannot be moved, it's stuck and i do not want to push or handle hard

That sounds frustrating! If the cartridge carrier is stuck on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e, here are some steps to try:

1. Perform a Power Reset

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check if the cartridge carrier moves freely.

2. Manually Check for Obstructions

  • Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
  • Look for paper jams, debris, or misaligned cartridges.
  • If you see anything blocking the carrier, gently remove it.

3. Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Restart the printer and check if the error persists.

4. Run HP’s Troubleshooting Guide

  • HP has a detailed troubleshooting page for this issue here.
  • You might find additional fixes or confirmation of a hardware defect.
