Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just wanting to know if I can set my printer up to print with only the black carter in place, as I only print in black.

No. If any colour ink cartridge is empty the printer will stop printing even b&w.
