Hi - I’ve recently updated the region settings to allow me to use my US bought printer with UK ink cartridges. In the US, I subscribed to instant ink - but unable to find my model number as valid for the service over here.

 

does anyone know if printer models have different numbers in different countries - if so, do you know what the 6452 model is known as in UK?

Yes, you can. If the US account is still active, cancel it and then re-enroll using the UK details. Kindly refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

instant ink Uk does not recognise that my printer is eligible for the plan thou?

You are correct. In the UK, this model printer is not Instant Ink eligible. It depends on the region.
