HP Recommended

I recently canceled my instant ink subscription and need to order my own ink cartridges. I have an HP 3830 printer and HP 63 ink is recommended.  My issue is that over the past few years HP has been sending me HP 65/304 catridges. Can I continue to use HP 65 cartridges?

I am afraid, that may not be recommended as the original cartridge is HP 63.
