I need to align the printheads but I have no option in any app via phone or iPad to do so. Just calibrate scanner. The align button just isn’t there!
I can’t update anything as no hp site will accept the serial number either! I have a deskjet 3772 bought in 2020.

Manual Alignment:

- Press the "Settings" or "Setup" button (depending on your model) on the printer's control panel.
- Look for an option to align the printheads. If it’s not visible, try pressing the "Resume" or "Cancel" button to see if it triggers the alignment process.
Use Printer's Control Panel:
- Some printers have a direct way to initiate printhead alignment through the control panel without needing the app. Look for an "Align Printheads" or "Printhead Alignment" option in the settings menu on the printer itself.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Sometimes reinstalling the printer software can restore missing features. Visit HP’s official website and download the latest drivers and software for the DeskJet 3772. Install it on your computer and check if the alignment option appears.
Check for Firmware Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- If the printer's firmware is outdated, it might not have the alignment option available. You might need to use HP's support page or software to update the firmware.
HP Smart App:
- Make sure you’re using the latest version of the HP Smart app on your phone or iPad. Sometimes, reinstalling the app can resolve issues with missing features.
