Product: Envy Photo 6255

for the last 2 years haven't been able to coax a single printed page out of HP Envy Photo 6255. it tells me a cartridge needs replacing. i've replaced it. i've re-replaced it. i've turned it off and replaced it again. nothing i can do will convince the printer that the cartridge has been replaced. this is ridiculous. it was working find until it needed a new cartridge and it just won't recognize the new cartridge as being there. what's the deal?!

This sounds like an issue with the printer ink system failing to recognize the ink cartrdige.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
