Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer

I agree this is terrible of hp to treat their customers like this. There was no where when I signed up that this would block your printer from working if you cancel your subscription. That should have been disclosed before signing up. 

I did the hard restart as directed by the tech person on this site and it still did not work after putting the ink back in. So, this ended up costing me more money instead of saving. Agree, will choose another brand of printer next time, this is deceitful marketing! I have used hp printers for years, not after this when this goes! 

And site is making it very difficult to post this.
