Cannot open access to cartridges. Message indicates black cartridge not communicating correctly with the printer.

Thanks for your interest. Eventually found from. the community that a bit more force would get the door open. Black cartridge was still not communicating so I phoned HP who sent me a new cartridge from Germany in one day! 

ZHICartridge was in  the usual hp white and blue sealed packet HP Instant ink 64/303/804, which was a small cartridge relative to the one it replaced. However, all is working now.
