Cannot print

I have a ton of ink cartridges for my HP 3752 and stopped my instant ink subscription.  How do I use my printer.  Lights are flashing and won't connect to bluetooth.  Anyone know what to do?

Start with replacing your Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges with a set of new (purchased) HP ink cartridges.

What?

Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges (all of them) only work with an active and current subscription to the Instant Ink service.

After the subscription is terminated (regardless of why), all subscription cartridges will lock and can no longer be used.

What is "Free Ink"?

There is no extra cost for ink.

Ink is provided as part of your subscription - use a drop or use a cup full, ink is included at no extra cost.

Important

After the initial Ink Kit is mailed out, ink is sent (only) when the printer notifies the service that ink is depleted and a shipment is needed.

• All ink activated by the plan and all ink sent to you works as along as the trail / subscription service is active.

and

• Subscription / Instant Ink remains the property of HP and should be returned to HP at close (termination) of the service contract.

This is a sham. Just what are we subscribing to with Instant Ink? Pages per month is a artificial barrier. Ink cartridges that only work with an active account is an artificial barrier. We give you money, you give us cartridges. If we stop giving you money, we can't use the cartridges you already gave us? If that's fair, then it's only fair that you prorate a return of money to us for the cartridges or 'pages' we didn't use. I thought Instant Ink would make my life better. It's instead made me subservient to a non-biological entity indifferent to the basic concept of fairness.

Between this and a handful of other issues (e.g. - website falling apart, cartridge #s not fitting as advertised, sending me ink multiple times before needing more), I will be seeking alternatives to your monopolistic practices. It seems like HP sacrificed its soul in exchange for one more decade of relevance as an ink & printer manufacturer.

Not everyone is a fan of the service.

Like other contracts, the subscription contract for Instant Ink does include a number of requirements.

Moving on is a choice and one that we respect -- We do not judge what people decide to do.

Instant Ink is an excellent service for those who print regularly, print high-density documents or artwork, or perhaps print lots of homework.  For example, those who benefit the most include Teachers, musicians, writers who like hard copy, large families, small business offices, community centers, churches, and others who love -- or need -- to print on paper.
