I have a HP MODEL #[edit] inkjet printer 4565 that will not turn on and I would like to remove the black ink cartridge. I cannot get to the cartridge because it is hidden and is not reachable

Hi @Yanachik,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Removing the ink cartridge from a printer that won't power on can be challenging because most printers need to be on to move the cartridge holder into a position that allows access to the cartridges. However, there are a few methods you can try to remove the cartridge from your HP inkjet printer, model 4565, even if it's not powering on:
Manual Cartridge Removal:
- Check the Manual: Consult the printer's manual for any information on manual cartridge release mechanisms. Some printers have a mechanical override that can be used in situations like this.
- Physical Inspection: Look for any visible tabs, buttons, or levers inside the printer that might manually release the cartridge holder. These are usually not prominently featured, so they might be subtle or hidden.
Reset and Power Troubleshooting:
- Check Power Supply: Ensure that the printer’s power cord is securely plugged into both the printer and a working electrical outlet. Try a different power cable or outlet if available to rule out a faulty power connection.
- Power Reset: Disconnect the printer from the power source completely and wait a few minutes. Then, reconnect it and try to turn it on again. Sometimes, printers can enter a state where a full power reset is needed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
