Cartridge Problem Error

My printer is barely over a year old. My warranty just expired. I have been waiting WELL over a month for an ink cartridge replacement due to a cartridge problem error from HP that still has yet to arrive. I finally gave in and purchased a new black cartridge myself to try and solve the issue. Same error. There's no way to contact HP support minus these forums or the virtual agent, who won't help me because the warranty is expired. For the amount I paid for this printer I would expect it to last over a year, and I am extremely frustrated at the lack of support options available. I not only need a printer for my business, but for virtual learning for my children as well. Is there anything that can be done??
