Product: HP Envy 5055
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Up until recently, I have had no issue in using non-HP cartridges until today. I don't see the option for cartridge protection in the software, so I'm assuming this was a firmware update that I will have to roll back?

It's the firmware, cartridge protection has nothing to do with your issue.

The problem now is I for the life of me can't figure how to roll back the firmware. Is there a documented way with the 5055?
