Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

Dear community. I own a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer. Bough in colombia it works with 954 cartridges. Recently moved to Netherlands and 954 are not available. After reading in different forums and checking on HP website, we understood 953 should also work. bought them, installed but printer says they are not compatible. I have changed the printer zone from colombia to Netherlands but does not help. Can you please guide me here? Thanks

HP Recommended

You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work.  HP's web page on the subject is here.
