HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075. Already the second time I got the error message "Cartridge Problem. Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed. If this message continues to appear, replace the indicated cartridge." The first time, the problem was caused by the color ink cartridge which had worked for a while. I tried cleaning the contacts and reseting the printer, but it didn't help. I had to replace it. The second time, the error was caused by the black ink cartridge and appeared from the beginning. I wonder if my printer has a problem and what to do apart from cleaning contacts and reseting. I'm using 680 color and ink cartridges. Thank you for any help!

Best wishes,

Stephan2017

Hi @Stephan2017,

I'd like to help!

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
