OfficeJet 5200 All-in-One Printer series

I installed a new instant ink cartridge for my HP OfficeJet 5200 All-in-One Printer series and am suddenly getting a cartridge error message. I’ve followed all the steps indicated for fixing it with no change. I suspect it’s a problem with the cartridge HP sent me. I can’t figure out how to get support from anyone other than the virtual assistant, which has been of no help.

what is the country on the cartridge?  Seems like a problem with Malaysian produced cartridges.

Yes I think it did come from Malaysia. I don’t have the wrapper as I threw it away after replacing the cartridge earlier this week. But the color cartridge from the same box was from Malaysia.

FYI to all I bought a new cartridge at Target and it is now working fine. Not sure what the problem was, however it did have me replacing a 63 cartridge with a 63/302

I’d recommend you contact HP Instant Ink Phone Support in your region for refund queries
