Hi, I get an error message when I installed my 910XL cartridge - the indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If this problem persists, replace the cartridges. 

 

It's a brand new cartridge. I'd like to get it replaced by HP. How do I do that?

Not communicating general help

The 9i10 is not listed but there is a link to claim the cartridge warranty.

What printer do you have?

 

Here is an official list of which cartridges are using by which HP printers, but also checkout Staples.

Staples has advice for their store bought cartridges that complements HP advice. Click here and enter HP and the cartridge ID (or just look it up)

Did you check for debris such as dried ink, glue or tape residue on both the cartridge and the printhead?
