Hi @Ramireddypavan,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4200 is showing incorrect ink levels or if you want to reset the ink cartridge levels, here are some steps you can follow.

Check Ink Levels

Using the HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Select your printer from the list.
  • Look for an option that shows ink levels.

Using Printer Display:

  • If your printer has a control panel, navigate to the settings or information menu to check the ink levels.

Reset Ink Levels

If the ink levels are incorrect and you want to reset them, follow these steps:

Remove the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer cover to access the ink cartridges.
  • Carefully remove the cartridges from their slots.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in.

Reinstall the Ink Cartridges:

  • Insert the cartridges back into their slots.
  • Close the printer cover.

Check Ink Levels Again:

  • After restarting the printer, check the ink levels using the HP Smart app or the printer display again.

Note:

  • Update Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause incorrect ink level readings.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, HP releases firmware updates that can fix issues related to ink levels.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
