Cartridge problem

HP Recommended
Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

8610 one or more cartridges damaged message on all 3 colors.

Replaced all cartridges with new as the message recommends and still has same error.

I went through troubleshooting and cleaning procedures.

What's up and what do I do with this brand new set of cartridges?

 

Colors have been too dark for a while then it just wouldn't print after a cleaning.  Would not go to cleaning level 2. 

Could it be a problem with the print head?  I tried cleaning with a kit.  That didn't work.

Is 4 years all I should expect out of a printer like this?  Maybe I can go paperless

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
