Hi,

My printer was fully functionnal and then 2 days after I have an issue with the cartridge connectivity (E0), I remove and replace the cartridge and now the issue is that the Validation protocole (cartridge verification) do not stop and i cannot print. I try everything : let some time (like 1 week!), restart, remove the printer in the HP app, deconnexion then reconnexion nothing works. Please help I really need to print !

Hi @Daadine,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your printer's cartridge verification process. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Check Cartridge Compatibility: Make sure that you are using compatible cartridges, as using non-HP or refilled cartridges might cause verification issues. Also, ensure that the cartridges are properly seated in the printer. Which cartridges work with my HP printer? | HP® Support.

Inspect Cartridge Contacts: Remove the cartridge again and inspect both the cartridge contacts and the printer contacts. Make sure no dirt or residue is preventing a proper connection. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth.

Check Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve connectivity and recognition issues with cartridges. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges: It's recommended to use genuine HP cartridges, as HP printers are optimised to work with original supplies. Non-genuine cartridges might cause verification loops and print quality issues.

Reset the Printer: Perform a power reset. Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear errors.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
