Hi @Reed44,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "print cartridge cannot move" error on your HP Envy 7200 series printer can be caused by a few different issues. Here's how to troubleshoot it.

Turn off the printer: Unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This may reset any temporary errors.

Check for obstructions: Even if there's no paper jam, check the area around the print cartridges for any small debris, paper fragments, or anything blocking the movement of the cartridge.

Manually move the cartridge: Gently try moving the print cartridge to see if it is stuck. If it doesn't move easily, there may be something physically blocking it. If it moves but feels stiff, it might be a mechanical issue.

Check the cartridge for damage: Make sure the print cartridges are properly installed and not damaged. Try removing and re-inserting the cartridges.

Perform a reset: If none of the above work, try performing a hard reset on your printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
