HP ENVY 110e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While changing the cartridges (300XL) one empty and one still holding the old cartridge moved to the right and are stuck there. The printer does not come on. I tried to move them to the middle and finish the change but they do not move, and I do not want use too much force and break something.  What to do?

Thank you for any suggestions.

@RobJae, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the print carriage is stuck. Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Carriage jam or E3 error

Check for any jammed papers inside the printer causing the jam - Printer Paper Tears, Wrinkles, or is Damaged while Printing from the All-in-One(step 2)

If this does not help, unplug the power cable and hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds and release it. Power on the printer and check.

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
