I understand you haven't had to change your cartridges in over a year despite using your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 regularly, there are a few possible reasons:
- High-Yield Cartridges: You might be using high-yield cartridges, which are designed to last longer than standard cartridges.
- Low Usage: If you don’t print frequently, the ink in the cartridges can last longer. Ink cartridges can dry out or degrade over time, but with minimal use, they may still be in good condition.
- Ink Management Technology: The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 has technology that helps manage ink levels efficiently. It might be using ink in a way that extends the life of the cartridges.
- Quality of Cartridges: The cartridges you received might have been of high quality or designed for extended use.
- Firmware and Software: Sometimes, firmware updates or software management can affect how ink levels are reported. Update the firmware on an HP printer
