I have OfficeJet Pro 8023 that I bought in Kuwait. I recently moved to US and brought the printer with me. This printer was using 912 cartridges when it was in Kuwait. I then bought 910 cartridge (as per HP website) in US but I got the message saying incompatible cartridges. Is the cartridge not detected properly due to incorrect region registered on the printer? If yes how do change/reset the region of my printer?

Welcome to the HP Support.
I will be more than happy to help you out here.
To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions.
1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
