Hi there,
I recently moved permanently from Germany to Canada. When I bought a new ink cartridge for my HP Tango X I am getting a compatibility error.
my printer won’t accept the new cartridges (64) and from what I understand reading this forum I need help doing a regional reset to make the printer work with North American cartridges as it still expects European ones (303)
could someone please help me understand how to do this process? I have access to the printer, a laptop and a USB cable so just need to know the instructions to do the reset.
Your help is much appreciated!

Hi @Chombie,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you moved and the printer is not is accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
