Hi @Lsvd4-74,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e is printing blank pages after changing all four ink cartridges, try these troubleshooting steps.
Check the Ink Cartridges
- Ensure that you removed the protective tape from each new cartridge.
- Verify that you installed the cartridges correctly in their respective slots.
- Make sure they are genuine HP ink cartridges, as non-HP cartridges may cause issues.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
- Wait 60 seconds and plug it back in.
- Turn on the printer and try printing again.
Clean the Printhead
The printhead may be clogged with old ink residue.
To clean it:
- Open the HP Smart app (or go to the printer's control panel).
- Navigate to Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
- Run the cleaning cycle up to 3 times if necessary.
Print a Test Page
- From the printer menu, go to Settings > Reports > Print Quality Report.
- If the test page is blank, your printhead might be blocked.
Check Ink Levels
- Even though you just installed new cartridges, check ink levels in the HP Smart app or printer control panel.
- If a cartridge is empty or defective, replacing it may be necessary.
Reseat the Printhead
- Remove all cartridges.
- Take out the printhead assembly (if removable).
- Wipe the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
- Let it dry, then reinstall it and the ink cartridges.

Update Printer Firmware
- Go to Settings > Printer Update and check for firmware updates.
- If connected to a computer, download the latest firmware from HP's website.
Try a Different Paper Type
- Ensure you're using the correct paper type.
- If printing on specialty paper, try standard plain white paper.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
