I bought an Office Jet 9020 in Costa Rica, but then bought HP ink cartridges #962 from the US instead of #964 and they won't work. And I can't return the ink.
But I found in these forums that there is a procedure that can change the printer to accept #962 ink.
Does anyone know how to do that procedure so I can get my printer working again?
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.
To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges from the old region/country.

You'll get the drivers or the HP Smart App from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-9020-all-in-one-printer-series/239...
Once done, please let us know 🙂
Thanks!
