I signed up to free instant ink program as I don't use printer very often.  I am about to be charged.  I don't want to waste what is albeit a small monthly payment for something I am unlikely to use.  I can't seem to find a reasonably simple way to contact HP.

If I cancel, I believe I will lose the ink I have.  Can anyone provide a solution to make a complaint about what is a change to my T&C's, or how to cancel and let the ink run out before I purchase another set.

I'm in UK

Thanks

@dave_p, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If you do not wish to be enrolled in Instant Ink, you can cancel enrollment in HP Instant Ink at any time without penalty.

To know how, refer o this document - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service

Note: You will be able to use the Instant Ink cartridges only for that billing cycle in which you cancelled the service.

Once the service is cancelled, you will have to use the regular HP ink cartridges to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I phoned UK support as an act of desperation as I couldn't get to "chat" on line - I have used that previously.

I hope the issue is now resolved, but I dare say time will tell.  I hope that if I buy new cartridges I will not have the hassle that others have had with HP being obstructive when using their printer.  I've seen it but not chasing that just now.

I may come back at the end of the month, but as I don't use the printer very often, it may well be later!

Thanks for the information, though I had already looked at that and not too sure  what to do.

Bearing in mind I haven't had a reply on "messenger" (my wife's account) maybe you Kumar 0307 could pass on my disappointment with HP online support or lack of it.

well I tried to use the printer as I occasionally do wirelessly with my laptop and it wouldn't print.  Phoned support.  After 20 min was cut off.  Phoned again later.  Not getting anywhere.  Suggested trying another diagnostic, but ran out of my time.  Was told the lady would phone me back later but never got back to me.

I did get a reply on messenger eventually, but after some discussion I'd had enough of my life wasted on a 20 quid printer.

If anyone has any suggestions to get it going again, I would give it a try.  It did work from my 20 year old PC.  Never knew how that linked with the printer as I never set it up to do so, and my 20 year old Epson is still going strong, even on cheap cartridges.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

It is still saying on HP web site that 15 pages instant ink is free.  Maybe be honest.
