I bought this printer in August last year, so my warranty expired last month! It is already not printing the cian (blue) color, or any colors needing it. I get the ink from HP delivery. The cartridge was half full, but I still replaced it with a new one. I cleaned the head multiple times and performed alignment (the page does not scan so I did not go any further). I tried the virtual agent who does not know what else to do. As I am now out of warranty, I am very limited on what I can do and I need the printer. If I can't fix or fixing the problem is more expensive than a new printer, then it won't get fixed, but I am not buying or recommending HP ever again. It seems that these printer was set to break right after warranty and it is unacceptable that any device don't last any longer than a year!!!

I would appreciate an estimate on this fix so I can decide my next step!

Thank you!

@lorenagdea, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is not printing in blue. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Check the ink levels and replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

Also, check if you have tried all the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Clean the printhead up to 2 times and print a test page to check the result.

If the issue persists with 2 different Cyan ink cartridges, it could be an issue with the printhead.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

I followed all steps. Then it may be the printhead which is barely a year old and have not had heavy printing. You can verify the amount of printing with the hp ink delivery for which I have membership. If you can’t give me a solution such as extending my warranty and fixing my barely used printer, I am not upgrading to an hp printer ever again!

I will wait for your answer. Thanks!
