There are streak in the printing for smart tank 500 and when I am trying to do the Clean Printhead in the HP Smart app, it is encountering an error and does not proceed with the process

@katrinabon, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I see that you are having print quality issues on the printer and are unable to run the printhead cleaning from the HP Smart app. 

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Did you follow the steps in this document to clean the printhead? - Color or Black Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Also, reinstall the HP Smart app to check if that helps.

Yes I followed the steps in the clean the printhead document, but it does not print anything.

 

I've also reinstalled HP smart app and still having the same issue.
