I've tried going through the Cleaning Page steps twice to clean the 19A imaging drum on my HP MFP M129 printer/copier/scanner, but there's still toner streaks on the left & right side edges on the paper. I pulled out the imagining drum & there's still quite a bit of toner clinging to the drum.
The printer was given to us by someone who only used it a couple of times then left it boxed up in a closet for several years. It's been operating very well for several months with only occasional use. It has a new HP toner cartridge in it.
What else can I try to clean the drum? I know not to use alcohol or a solvent directly on it. I'm not sure that replacing the drum will solve whatever caused the toner build up in the first place.

Print the supplies status page
Scan this page, upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large".

Hi,
Replace the cartridge with a new HP cartridge.
The drum does not need to be replaced.
Before inserting the new cartridge, check the interior for old toner residue and vacuum if necessary!
You should first print one or more cleaning pages with the new cartridge.
I hope this helps without having to replace the drum.
Kind Regards
