Brown and tan colors are printing in mostly pink.

I have replaced all cartridges.

I have cleaned the print head 4 times.

If there is supposed to be a yellow square at the bottom, it is totally missing.

There is no black except for the text at the top of the page.

The squares at the bottom of the page are blue, pink, blank, purple, blue, pink.

I have aligned the peint heads 2 times.

I do not see in the set up on the printer diaplay or on my HP Smart app where I can recallibrate the ink mixtures.

Not a good sign. You have mixed colours in your printhead, and no yellow. Cleaning will do nothing, you will just waste ink. Unless covered with warranty a new printhead will probably be like 50% of new printer.

Thank you Valsimot, I really appreciate the response. That is unfortunately what I was afraid of!

It seems the yellow and black ink aren't printing correctly, likely due to a clogged print head or a hardware issue. Here's a quick checklist:

  1. Re-clean the Print Heads: Perform another cleaning cycle via the printer settings, focusing on deep cleaning.

  2. Inspect Ink Flow: Remove the yellow and black cartridges and check for proper ink flow. Make sure no protective seals are left on the cartridges.

  3. Run a Diagnostic Report: Use the printer's settings to print a diagnostics page and confirm any missing colors.

  4. Manually Check the Print Head: If possible, gently clean the print head with a lint-free cloth and distilled water to remove any clogs.

  5. Replace the Print Head: If issues persist, the print head itself may need replacement.
