Color Cartridge remove and reinstall message

Hi I recently purchased a new set of cartridges for my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage  3835 printer. The black cartridge seems to be fine but when i replace the new color cartridge, I get an error remove and reinstall cartridge. When I put the old cartridge back, it seems to be fine. Kindly help my  product  serial number is  [Personal Information Removed]

It is definitely a color cartridge issue and it needs a replacement.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
