We have an Officejet pro 9020 - depleted cartridges must be replaced message - we have replaced all of the cartridges, we bought the cleaning kit and cleaned the cartridges, we downloaded the current driver, we have removed and reinstalled the cartridges, unplugged, reset - everything that has been suggested - the black cartridge is showing full but the cartridges all show to be empty. We replaced with HP brand ink cartridges. Please advise and thank you in advance!!!

It sounds like you've already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps—kudos for being so thorough!
Here are a few additional suggestions that might help resolve the "depleted cartridges must be replaced" issue on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9020:
Clean the Cartridge Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Remove the cartridges and gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
- Let the contacts dry completely before reinserting the cartridges.
Check Cartridge Authenticity:
- Ensure the cartridges are genuine HP brand cartridges. Sometimes, even compatible third-party cartridges can cause errors.
Reset the Printer:
- Unplug the printer while it's turned on.
- Wait for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help clear any residual errors.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware updates for your printer. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause cartridge recognition issues.
Inspect the Ink Levels:
- On the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app, check the ink levels. If the cartridges still show as empty, there might be a sensor issue.
