Color LaserJet 5550n

We're having issues with our old LaserJet 5550 after moving it. The printouts are perfect, except for one a band of cyan missing at the edge of the page both on A4 and A3. Attached an image of testprints of CMYK.

Maybe it is just the cartridge malfunctioning or can it be something else?

Before I buy a new cartridge to check (this one is still more than half full), any help is much appreciated!

Thank you,

Rutger

You either have a bad cartridge, bad cartridge contacts or a failing high voltage board. Check the high voltage contacts for damage or dirt, contacts are on the edges of cavity where the cartridge installs. I would suggest you try a different cartridge first if you have one is this is the quickest test.
