Hi, I have read through old posts about similar issues, but wanted to see if anyone has any 2022 advice!  I intercepted this printer that was about to go to the dump. I have it humming along now except for this yellow line issue.  The lines run along the right side of each printout (see attached).  All HP toner with sufficient amount left in each.  I have run the cleaning sheet, pulled out the yellow cartridge, ran a Q-tip on the cartridge, but no yellow residue.  I didn't see anything on the cartridge roller or in its printer slot.  Need to re-try the swapping of cartridges test...

My wife wants it to go to the dump as  originally intended, but the techie in me has to give it a last shot.  Worth investing in a yellow toner, but fuser or other component probably not worth it...

Any magic ideas?    Please help me save this printer!  Thanks a lot.

A distinct single color defect like that is going to be cartridge 99% of the time. If you measure the distance between two lines and consult a repetitive defect chart it will confirm what is causing the issue.
