I have a Color Laserjet 4600 that has been working great for many, many years. Low volume comparatively for its age.  I installed a new HP brand Cyan cartridge.  It immediately began to spread cyan tint to all areas of a document that has any color where it would normally be much lighter if not completely white.   I assumed faulty cartridge and had it replaced (thank you Amazon).  The new replacement cartridge has the same problem.

Printer test page (Diagnostics Menu) looks prints the cyan and yellow test pages do not print correctly with fading to white on the right side of the pages. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS  Also, the HP Account screens will not accept my serial number; likely because too old.

If these were inexpensive non-HP cartridges, failure rate on those can be as high as 50%. Can you post a sample of what you are seeing?
