Hi All,
I am having issues with the print quality of my color prints on my LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw. You can see on the Supplies Status and Print Quality images below that the Magenta toner is faded on the left side of both pages and becomes more solid as it moves to the right. I spent some time on the phone with HP support a few weeks ago about this issue, they had me perform some troubleshooting steps and determined my magenta toner was bad and mailed me a brand new one, but the issue still exists.
The printer itself is not that old, it was purchased on 11/23/2018 and this is just my 2nd set of toners other than the original starter toners. I have also only ever used genuine HP toners. Per the usage report there are only 5,200 total impressions on the printer since it's origin.
Does anyone have any ideas on things I can try, or think that this may be a mechanical problem? It does sound like there are some clicking noises when I print, but it is odd to me that everything seems fine other than the magenta. I know the demo page looks decent quality, but when I print any color image from my laptop or IPad the quality is pretty bad. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Supplies Status
