@Smdh, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer facing calibration

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your printer’s colors are off, there are smudges, and the calibration keeps failing despite using the diagnostic tools. Let’s try a few steps to get this sorted out:

Clean the Printhead

Sometimes, clogged printheads can cause color issues and smearing. Here’s how you can clean them:

  • On your printer’s control panel, go to SettingsMaintenanceClean Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and run the cleaning cycle.
  • After cleaning, try printing a test page to check if the issue improves.

Check the Ink Levels

Low or dried-up ink can also lead to poor print quality:

  • Open the HP Smart app or your printer’s control panel.
  • Check the ink levels – if any cartridge is low or empty, replacing it may help.

Align the Printer

If the calibration keeps failing, try aligning the printhead manually:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SettingsMaintenanceAlign Printer.
  • Load plain paper into the tray and follow the alignment steps carefully.

Try a Hard Reset

Sometimes a reset can help clear out any lingering issues:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

If you’ve tried all these steps and the issue persists, there might be a hardware problem. Let me know how it goes — happy to keep troubleshooting with you!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
