Hello,
the colors on my Laserjet pro 500 MFP printer are misaligned.
Blue is off by about 5mm; Magenta by about 7mm; Yellow by about 5mm.
The latest firmware is installed.
The color shift is consistently calibrated to these values during the calibration process.
On the printer's diagnostic page, these seem to correspond to the hex values 10; 04; 09; 04.
I suspect these values were set at the factory during production and now need to be adjusted.
Is there a way to reset these default values (probably starting values) in the printer?
I assume the EPROM memory values need to be adjusted.
The toner cartridges are still half full and are genuine HP products.
The transfer unit is also working perfectly.
Best regards

I suggest that your first step would be to perform a factory reset on the printer. A couple of things can mess with the calibration sequence.
1. Non-HP cartridges that have a different tonal range (not the case for you) and therefore are read wrong, or cartridges with poor print quality.
2. Dirty registration sensors. These are located behind the cartridge door and read the calibration strips printed on the transfer belt.
