@SheilaWorts, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Blurry Color Prints!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your printer. Here are some potential solutions you can try to resolve the problem of blurry color prints:
Possible Solutions for Blurry Color Prints
Check Printhead Alignment: Misaligned printheads can cause blurry prints. Refer to your printer's manual or software tools to perform a printhead alignment.
Calibrate the Printer: Many color printers have a calibration tool to ensure color accuracy and sharpness. Run the calibration process through your printer's settings or software utility.
Check the Paper Type Setting: Ensure that the paper type setting in the printer software matches the actual paper you are using. Incorrect settings can affect print quality.
Driver Update: Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer model installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
Check Connection: Ensure that the connection between the printer and your computer is secure. For network printers, check if the network connection is stable.
Run Print Quality Diagnostics: Use the printer's maintenance menu to print a diagnostics page. This can help identify whether any specific color is causing the issue.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi @SheilaWorts,
Thank you for the response.
Since @zoey7886 is not available at the moment, I'll be assisting you further.
Here's what you can try next:
Manually Clean the Printhead (if applicable)
Even if you've done the automatic cleaning, a manual cleaning using a lint-free cloth, distilled water, and isopropyl alcohol on the printhead nozzles can help.
Be gentle and avoid touching the copper/gold contacts with bare fingers.
Use HP Smart App or Embedded Web Server
If connected to Wi-Fi, open the HP Smart App or enter your printer's IP address in a browser.
Look under Printer Maintenance > Calibrate/Align/Printhead Cleaning and run all steps again.
Also try: Clean Smear or Clean Secondary Transfer Roller if the option exists.
Firmware Reset
On the printer, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults (this won’t delete drivers but will reset calibration and configuration).
After reset, try a test print again.
Try Different Paper & Source
Sometimes glossy or incompatible paper causes toner not to adhere correctly.
Make sure you're using HP-recommended paper types (laser or inkjet specific).
Also try printing from another PC or mobile device to rule out a software or driver glitch.
I hope this helps.
