Hi @CathyH0430,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing issues with color printing, despite replacing ink cartridges, cleaning printheads, and aligning the printer, there are a few additional steps you can take to troubleshoot and improve the print quality. Here are some suggestions.
- Check for Software Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware and driver are up-to-date. Visit the HP official website and download the latest firmware and driver for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer.
- Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges: Make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP cartridges may not provide the same quality and can lead to printing issues.
- Check Ink Levels: Verify that the ink levels are sufficient. Low ink levels can affect print quality. You can check this information from the printer software on your computer.
- Run a Diagnostic Test: Most printers have a diagnostic or test print option. Use this feature to print a test page. The test page can help identify specific color or alignment issues.
- Manual Printhead Cleaning: If the automatic printhead cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, you may try a manual printhead cleaning. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the printheads manually.
- Check Paper Quality: Ensure you are using the correct type and quality of paper for your printer. Using poor-quality or incompatible paper can affect print results.
- Adjust Print Quality Settings: In your printer settings on your computer, adjust the print quality settings. Sometimes, selecting a higher print quality can improve the appearance of prints.
- Inspect for Debris: Inspect the printer for any debris or foreign objects that may be interfering with the printing process. Carefully clean the printer, especially around the printhead area.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
