My printer HP smart tank 585 has an issue of colour printing. when i give black and white print , printer has easily print. But when i give colour command it give half printing this was issue

If your HP Smart Tank 585 printer is experiencing issues with color printing but prints black and white perfectly, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that the ink tanks are filled with sufficient color ink.
  • Make sure the ink tanks are properly seated and not leaking.

Clean Printhead:

  • The printhead might be clogged. You can perform a printhead cleaning using the printer's maintenance menu or the HP Smart app.

Printhead Alignment:

  • Sometimes the alignment of the printhead can solve issues related to color printing.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or from the printer's settings.

Run Test Print:

  • Run a test print to check if the color is printing correctly.

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that the print settings in your software/application are correctly set to color print.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Try reinstalling the printer drivers and software from the HP website.
