Magenta ink showing good levels but not printing. Tried shaking cartridge from side to side.

I hear that your magenta ink shows a good level but is not printing. HP recommends these checks and actions:
 

Use genuine HP cartridges: Non-HP or refilled cartridges can cause print quality issues, including missing colors.
 

Check paper and print settings: Make sure the correct paper type, paper size, and print quality settings are selected.
 

Print a diagnostic/print quality report: This helps confirm whether the magenta color block is missing or streaked.
 

Clean the printhead: A clogged printhead can prevent magenta from printing even when ink levels look normal.

On supported models, use the printer control panel to run Clean Printhead. You may need to repeat cleaning if the printhead is badly clogged.
 

Align the printhead: If the diagnostic report shows line or alignment issues, run Align Printhead.
 

Replace the cartridge or printhead if needed: If repeated cleaning does not restore magenta output, the affected cartridge or printhead may need replacement.
