Hi @ROSH23

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your printer is only printing pink because the cyan or yellow ink isn't flowing properly, leaving magenta as the dominant color. Since you’re unable to access the printhead, here are some troubleshooting steps to help:

Step 1: Check Ink Levels & Air Bubbles

  • Ensure cyan and yellow ink levels are sufficient—low ink can cause color imbalance.
  • Tap the ink tanks gently to check for air bubbles. If bubbles are present, they may be blocking ink flow.

Step 2: Run a Printhead Cleaning Cycle

  • If you haven’t already, try running Printhead Cleaning from the printer’s control panel or HP Smart App.
  • If cleaning fails, attempt Deep Cleaning (if available in your printer settings).

Step 3: Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it for 5 minutes.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds while unplugged.
  3. Reconnect the power cord and turn it on.

Step 4: Try a Forced Printhead Reset

  • If the printhead won’t move to the center, try this:
    1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
    2. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
    3. Plug it back in and turn it on while holding the Resume button (if available).
    4. This may force the printhead to reset and move.

Step 5: Print a Diagnostic Page

  • Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page from the printer’s control panel.
  • If cyan and yellow are missing, it confirms an ink flow issue.

Try these steps and let me know if the issue persists! We’ll get this sorted.
