Hi @Andy_g59,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're unable to find the color printing option in the HP Smart App on your Android devices, here are some steps and considerations to help resolve the issue:
Troubleshooting Steps:
Check Printer Compatibility:
- Ensure that your HP ENVY 6032e printer supports color printing. It should, but it's always good to verify compatibility.
Update HP Smart App:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed on your Android devices. Go to the Google Play Store, search for "HP Smart," and update the app if a newer version is available.
Restart the App:
- Sometimes, restarting the HP Smart App can resolve minor glitches. Close the app completely and then reopen it to see if the color printing option reappears.
Check Printer Settings via App:
- Open the HP Smart App on your Android device.
- Select your printer.
- Look for printer settings or options within the app that might affect color printing. Ensure that color printing is enabled if there is such an option.
Check Document or Photo Type:
- In some cases, the color option might only appear when printing certain types of documents or photos. Try printing a different document or photo to see if the color option becomes available.
Permissions and Settings:
- Ensure that the HP Smart App has the necessary permissions to access printer settings and perform color printing. Go to your device’s settings, find the HP Smart App, and check its permissions.
Reinstall HP Smart App:
- If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart App on your Android devices. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues with app functionality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
